Where it started
Solvik began with a simple conviction: that a van conversion motorhome should feel like a complete, considered design — not a base van and a list of extras to reach a fair spec.
So we set out to do the opposite of the industry norm. Fewer models. Deeper thought. Every detail resolved before it reaches you, and a price printed openly on the page.

In our own words
[ YOUR STORY GOES HERE ] — this is the most important paragraph on the site, and the one that can’t be written for you. The years on the road. What frustrated you about the builds you saw. The decision to do it differently, and how the Alvechurch workshop came to be. A few honest paragraphs in your own voice will earn more trust than any polished marketing — replace this before publishing.
“We’d rather build a few van conversion motorhomes exceptionally well than a great many adequately.”
The Solvik principle
Why fixed layouts
We chose to perfect a small number of layouts rather than chase an endless spec sheet. Returning to the same considered designs lets us resolve every detail over time — and it’s why we can publish our prices openly, with nothing hidden to negotiate.
You still make each one yours through the finishes, materials and options. What stays constant is the quality underneath.

Why the Fiat Ducato
Every Solvik is built on the Fiat Ducato — the most widely supported motorhome base vehicle in Europe, chosen for its structural rigidity, ride quality and the reassurance of a dealer network wherever you travel.
At 3,500kg, every Solvik can be driven on a standard car licence — no C1 entitlement, no compromise on where you can go.

Where we are now
Today, every Solvik is handbuilt in Alvechurch by a small, skilled team. The best way to understand the difference is to walk one — so come and do exactly that.
