Can I drive a Solvik on a normal car licence?
Yes. Every Solvik is built on a 3,500kg Fiat Ducato, so it can be driven on a standard UK category B car licence. There is no need for a C1 entitlement, which matters if you passed your test after 1997.
How much does a Solvik motorhome cost?
Prices are published openly. The Strand starts from £72,995, the Fjord from £74,995 and the Tind from £76,995. Prices include VAT.
How much can I actually load into it?
Each model is built to leave a genuinely usable payload for passengers, water and belongings. We confirm the exact figure for your specific build in writing before you place a deposit.
How long will I wait for my van?
Build slots are allocated in the order deposits are taken. We confirm your handover window in writing when your slot is booked, and keep you updated rather than leaving you to chase.
Do you take part exchange?
Yes. We are happy to value your current motorhome or campervan against a new Solvik. Send us the make, model, year, mileage and a few photographs and we will come back with a figure.
Where does it get serviced?
Base vehicle servicing goes through the Fiat dealer network, so you can use whichever is convenient. Habitation servicing, certification and warranty work is handled at Alvechurch by the people who built it.
Can I see one before I commit?
We encourage it. Visit the workshop, walk the demonstrator, and see a van part-way through its build. Nobody should spend this kind of money from a photograph.
Can I change the layout, or choose finishes?
The floorplans are — and that’s a good thing. Perfecting a small number of layouts means every detail gets resolved and every price can be published openly, so there are no surprises. Where you make it yours is the finish: colours, materials and options, chosen on our configurator or talked through with us directly.
What warranty do I get?
Every Solvik comes with a build warranty on the conversion, handled directly by us, plus the manufacturer warranty on the Fiat Ducato base vehicle.
